The Sandisk Sansa
Out of the box it’s pretty sweet. Feature for feature, dollar for dollar. Sandisk beats Apple to the 8gb solid state barrier, and for once someone puts forth a nice looking portable player to boot.
The best features?
A user replaceable battery, and a MicroSD card slot for moving photos and media around as well as an FM tuner with recording & voice recording.
Now if it only worked with iTunes… hmmm… Anyone have a hack?

Once people figure out the DRM Apple puts on iTunes sucks, mp3 players will be all the rave again
