Incredible 3D Marketing campaign…

Just when you thought the dot.com days of stupid marketing tricks were up. A company called isodx drops this bomb.

What was delivered to me was a nice wooden box, a cigar box basically. With a personalized label. I *thought* wow, who are these guys? More importantly how’d they know I’d enjoy a good cigar?

The tag line said: This box contains a way for <insert company name here> to make hay.

After cracking it open you find a nice two color personalized post card.

< Person >, behind every pile of hay is a point to be made. Dig in and see what we mean. Along with a nice 6 page brochure and what appears to be some hay, or more like corn husks.

Wow, O.K., so I spent a few minutes read the brochure, and I don’t get the point so I google these fine folks.

After spending a few minutes on their website, I still don’t fully understand what in the hell they do.

But apparently I should care because their product can:

* Fix problems – immediately
* Differentiate your business – instantly
* Increase revenue and profit – quickly
* Heighten customer loyalty – easily
* Create and maintain complete system documentation – automatically

Wow. Apparently they used the Dilbert Mission Statement generator to create this amazing marketing material.

To emphasize just how silly and noncommunicative their website is…

Take a look then compare it to this spoof site.

You’re initial response might be; “Wow, the poohbah has too much time on his hands.” But the reality is, we really didn’t need to change much at all. This site is that ridiculous.

This reaks of dot.com venture capitol spending. Something we’re all too familiar with.

Enjoy…
