Uh, the recently reduced the pricing, and it still sucks. Cisco will never make money with this product, ever. You must work for them, and for that I’m sorry.

Much like the flip, this is an area where Cisco will fail. They suck at consumer products, always have. I’ve seen no evidence that that will change.

I have E4300 with the same problem. But it will not happen in Powersaver mode. I think I don’t need high performance for the battery setting except when running Digital Mark Reader (DMR).
