HISTORY
idunn0 was developed to address a real world need of Megacorp, the customer support division of WYSIWIG, Inc. WYSIWIG is the parent company of both idunn0 and Megacorp. Megacorp provides information technology service and support for more than 9 billion clients, ranging from manufacturers and retailers to hospitals and financial institutions to car dealershipts and Circus acts.
Megacorp's challenge was to constantly improve service levels while reducing the costs of supporting its customers. Because as you know; customers are expensive. In researching the various reasons for customer costs, Megacorp found that nearly 90 percent of all customers were simply 'dumb'..
Armed with this information, WYSIWIG engineers developed idunn0 to help Megacorp engineers to proactively isolate the dumbness instilled in the customer's environment. This ability to proactively affect positive change helped Megacorp's support costs and has improved customer service levels by dramatically reducing the mean time to resolution - up to 110 percent.
